Our
Story

The Reassessment Campaign on Veterinary Resuscitation (RECOVER) Initiative was spearheaded by a team of veterinary emergency and critical care specialists in 2010 with the goal of developing and disseminating the first evidence-based veterinary cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) guidelines. The first guidelines were published in the Journal of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2012 and the updated guidelines were published in June of 2024.

Becoming certified as a RECOVER CPR Rescuer in Basic and Advanced Life Support is a multistep process that provides a huge benefit to your patients and clients.

As a RECOVER Certified Instructor I provide in person training for groups to certify them as RECOVER CPR Rescuers. Contact me for more information.
